It is a big jolt for ruling YSR Congress party as Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy submitted his resignation, in a speaker format, from the post of MLA to Assembly Speaker on Monday. He also resigned his party membership on the same day.
The two-time MLA ,Alla Ramakrishna Reddy hit the headlines when he defeated TDP Supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh in Mangalagiri in 2019 Assembly Elections.
He thanked Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for giving the opportunity to made him MLA twice. He also thanked the people of Mangalagiri for elected him as MLA in 2014 and 2019.
As the 2024 General Elections around the corner, Andhra Pradesh will witness major political developments in the state. Alla Ramakrishna Reddy's resignation is an instance for this.
